Drosera lanta is Australian sundew that thrives year-long in the northern part of the Cape York Peninsula. This part of Australia experiences a tropical savanna climate and two distinct seasons - an arid, dry season and a wet monsoon season. Looking at a chart of yearly climate data for Mareeba, a city on the eastern coast of the Cape York Peninsula, shows how the weather changes throughout the year.

However, since the sun is not up yet in Mareeba but may be in your local time zone, ClimaLink has the option to cache weather data so that the device is always simulating the sun cycle and weather at synchronous local time. So if it's 3:00 PM where you are right now, you won't see this weather & sun level occurring until 6:00 AM your time. If this option is not selected (live weather), your sun cycle and the remote city's sun cycle will not be in sync with the weather.
